Dr. Jacqueline Crespo-Gales, MD
Dr. Jacqueline Crespo-Gales grew up in Manila, Philippines. She began her studies in the University of Santo Tomas and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Psychology after four years (1980-1984). At the same school, she earned her Doctorate Degree in Medicine and Surgery (1984-1988) and interned at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Manila, Philippines.
Coming from an underdeveloped country, she regularly saw many unfortunate children in the streets without adequate medical care. Inspired by this, she began the pursuit of her pediatric career and training in 1996 at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. She was Board Certified in Pediatrics in 1998. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
For eight years, she was part of the medical staff at Decatur General Hospital and practiced at Decatur Pediatrics in Alabama. In July 2005, Dr. Crespo began her own private practice, which she named Madison Valley Pediatrics. Currently, she has staff privileges at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Huntsville. Her goal is to provide her patients and their families with quality care in a family- oriented environment.
Dr. Crespo is happily married to Dr. Antonio Gales and has two daughters, Angelica Therese, and Anabelle. She loves traveling, going out, and spending time with her friends and family. One day, she hopes to go back to the Philippines for a medical mission and give back to the kids that inspired her the most.
